Client: Shirl Solomon Creative Works
Shirl Solomon is a handwriting expert and artist. Not only is she talented but she is a healthy 80-something-year-old. Shirl was new to the digital world and wanted to know how she could leave an online legacy. We created a simple non-threatening blog that would not overwhelm her, but she could have the ablility share her art with her family and friends. This sharp, intellegent woman also wrote stage and screenplays as well as books and novels.
After displaying her art and books on her blog, Shirl was still wondering how to gain attention to her works. Since she is retired, it was not a priority, but she really wanted some feedback on the purpose of all this new technology. She tried Facebook and Twitter, but still was not quite comfortable with social media and did not want to devote a lot of time to it.
After one year of her blog being published, Shirl received a call from a developer that was interested in making an App for her book called Scryptics. The book was about techniques of probing personalities, based on the strokes and forms of handwriting. Her colaboration with the App developer was a success and her App can now be found in the App store on Itunes under the name SCRYPTIX. This application will take you through a series of drawings to discover insights about you and record your progress.
